Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of fourteen (14) Marine Corps historically accurate uniforms ranging from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam era, delivered to Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, in New Orleans, LA 70146. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information; quotes are being requested and the written solicitation is attached. A summary of the items is as follows: 1) 1775: Continental Marine Regulation Dress 2) 1804: U.S. Marine 1798 Regulation Dress 3) 1814: Marine 1805 Service Dress 4) 1836: Marine 1833 Service Dress 5) 1847: Marine 1839 Fatigue Dress 6) 1861: Marine M1859 Undress 7) 1898: Marine M1892 Undress 8) 1900: Marine M1892/98 Field Service 9) 1918: Marine M1912/17 Winter Service, Field 10) 1931: Marine M1926 Marine Summer Service (field) 11) 1943: Marine M1941/42 HBT Uniform 12) 1944: M1943 Women's Summer Service Uniform 13) 1951: M1944 Marine Utility Uniform 14) 1968: 1965 Jungle Utility Uniform Quantity is one (1) of each. More details and required minimum accesories are outlined in the attached written solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted; full and open competition. The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. It is the offeror's responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government to determine acceptability of the offered items, including, but not limited to, pictures and past performance references. Offerors are reminded that they must complete and submit the following documents contained in the attached Solicitation or submit as a separate attachment to the quote: i. Standard Form 1449 ii. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications iii. Pictures iv. Past Performance references Additional requirements may be added to the solicitation by Amendment. Please make sure to include DUNS number, CAGE code, Federal Tax ID number in the quote. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM CST Thursday, August 23rd, 2012.
