- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. M6786512T0041 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 339992, and the size standard is 500. The Government requires new equipment in response to this solicitation. Offerors must identify any used, reconditioned, re-manufactured, or recovered Government material in their quotes. Offerors shall also provide descriptive literature for all items. The lack of descriptive literature for all parts/components will result in offer deemed non-responsive. The agency is in need of 3 Professional Cornets for 3rd MAW Band. Delivery and installation shall be to MCAS Miramar, San Diego, CA 92145. All awarded items under subsequent contract are expected to be delivered within 30 days of Offeror receipt of contract. The following FAR provisions apply to this RFQ: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. Offerors shall verify that they are CCR registered, and have met the requirements in accordance with 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Additional provisions and other pertinent information is provided in the attached RFQ. All offers are due by 4:00 pm on 13 Aug 2012 PST. Offers can be submitted either via mail, or hand carried. Offers sent via the US Postal system must be mailed to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, 8671 Obregon Rd, San Diego, CA 92145-2007. Hand carried offers must be delivered to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, Bldg 8671, Obregon Rd, San Diego, CA 92145 during weekdays from 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, and excluding federal holidays.
