- Synopsis F2030-12-70824 Estimated release date of solicitation: 21 August 2012 Estimated Response date of Request for Proposal: 21 September 2012 RFP #: SPRTA1-12-R-0440 PR#: FD2030-12-70824 AMC: 3Z Nomenclature/Noun: Jet Engine Fuel Pump NSN: 2915-01-525-6402 PN PN: 708600-7 Application (Engine or Aircraft): F108 Item: 0001- New Manufactured Material Qty: 3-Year MYC contract with a BEQ of 39, Min-28, Max -59 Estimated Year I Qty: 28 Estimated Year II Qty: 7 Estimated Year III Qty: 4 Estimated Maximum Contract Quantity: 59 Description/Function: Pressurizes and circulates the fuel in the fuel system. Dimensions: Approximately 30 inches in length, 16 inch in width, 16 inches in height, and 40 LBS in weight. Material: Various Alloys Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB, OK. 73145-8000 New/Unused Government and Commercial Surplus are acceptable. History: There is no history available Qualification requirements are not applicable. Export Control: Not Applicable Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The purposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and compete with only a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Currently Eaton (cage code 59875) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. All proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
