- The Requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN. The major FSC is: 2540. A Definite Quantity Contract is anticipated. Small Business Size Standard is 1000 for NAICS 336112. 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Solicitation will be available on Approximately August 16, 2012 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. Technical drawings/bid sets are available After The Issue Date On the Internet at https://www/dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ then click the cFolders under the Technial Data Tab. Federal, Military and Commercial Specifications Cannot Be Provided By DSCC. Interested parties may obtain copies & other standardization documents from the DOD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), In Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF formant from the ASSIST-Quick Search and in most cases download The documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST canbe ordered from DODSSP using the ASSIST Shipping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the Registration Procedures or by phoning at (215)697-6396/6257 (DSN: 442-6396/6257). Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Description etc. are not stocked at the DODSSP. Hard Copies are not available. Increments, Etc., requirements will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation for offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon Market Research, The Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12. However, Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The C.O. May utilize on-line Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. During the course of the on-line auction, offferors' proposed prices will be publicly disclosed to other offerors & anyone else having access to the auction. See The Solicitation for Add'l.
