The Olympic National Forest intends to solicit for a Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Task Order Contract (MA-IDIQ-TOC) for professional-technical forestry work for the Pacific Northwest Research Station, Olympia Forestry Sciences Laboratory (PNWRS-OFSL). The scope of work will vary greatly amongst task orders. Anticipated types of work include, but are NOT limited to: a) Tree measurement and/or condition assessment; b) Sample collection; c) Environmental assessments; d) Research plot establishment and maintenance, and; e) Vegetation assessments. Successful contractors will work very closely with federal government (USFS) project personnel on some projects and independently on others. Competition for task orders will be limited to the successful contractors awarded an IDIQ contract. It is anticipated that each IDIQ contract awarded will include one base year and three option years. Award of option years is entirely at the discretion of the Government. Evaluation criteria for IDIQ award will be clearly defined in the solicitation.
