- The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to enter into an agreement with a company for the deconstruction and complete removal of the former Hatchery Office building, located at 111 Elizabeth Street, Tupelo, Mississippi, 38801. The existing one-story, largely masonry, structure is approximately 1,627. Work includes: Removal and proper disposal of remaining trash, debris, equipment and other items found in and around the structure; disconnection and capping of all utilities to the structure; abatement by removal of asbestos containing vinyl floor tiles and transite ceiling panel materials; removal of HVAC furnaces, air, and other remaining equipment; all roofing, trusses, walls, doors, windows, walkways, concrete slabs, foundation, utilities, piping, and other building components and appurtenances. Backfill all holes, trenches and other excavations; fill with 6 inches top soil, compacted and finished graded to drain; and sod with seasonal native grass sod on all disturbed areas. All materials, trash and debris shall be properly disposed off site. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $35,000 and $50,000. The Government anticipates an award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The Government intends to award one Purchase Order as a result of this solicitation. This procurement is issued as a set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 562910, Remediation Services with a size standard of $14.0 million. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://www.fedconnect.net and http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 6, 2012, with quotes due on or about August 17, 2012. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The electronic package will consist of separate files for the standard form used for the submission or your quote, the specifications, drawings, and the prevailing wage determination. The Offerors are required to submit RFQ by email to jamese_promise@fws.gov. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Quote. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Quote. It is the Offerors responsibility to periodically check for any amendments to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for this award.
