Description
This is a combined synopsis for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The solicitation number is P12PS22977 and the solicitation is being issued as a request for quotations (RFQ), as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 423330 with an associated small business size standard of 100 employees. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This solicitation will result in an award of a single firm, fixed-price contract. The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park, has a requirement to supply and deliver lumber for board on board roofing. This lumber will be used by the National Park Service to replace aging board on board roofs on historical buildings located at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Note that the information provides specifications and includes characteristics that meet the government's requirements for comparison purposes. Species to be considered are Redwood, Red Fir and Cedar. Mandatory salient characteristics include the following: Continuous length vertical grain boards free of knots, splits, splices, cups, warps or wanes. Kerfs are to run the entire length of the board. For details on kerfs, please see attachment #1. This solicitation is for supply and delivery only - no installation required. The unit and delivery shall be considered a complete package and will be awarded on an all-or-nothing basis, meaning the unit and delivery must be accomplished by the required date specified. DISCOUNTS: Vendor shall state on quote if any single item discounts are available; including net payment term discounts. DELIVERY: Delivery is FOB: Destination: Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, Attn: Alex Patterson, 612E. Reserve Street, Vancouver, Washington 98661. Delivery shall be coordinated 24 hours in advance by calling Alex Patterson at 360-816-6221 and shall be accepted between 07:00 am and 02:300 pm Monday through Friday. DO NOT schedule a delivery to arrive after 02:30 pm Monday through Friday. There will be NO exception to the delivery times available for making delivery. PRICE SCHEDULE: Please provide pricing information on 3/4 in x 9 in boards at lengths of 6 ft, 7 ft- 10 in, 10ft- 6in and 18 ft each.
