This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is provided as an attachment to this notice. The purpose of this acquisition is to continue the software maintenance for brand name Symantec enterprise software licenses for anti-virus (AV) and anti-spyware (AS) capabilities, in support of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Program Executive Office Mission Assurance (PEO-MA). All quotes must be for BRAND NEW products. Quotes for used, re-furbished, etc items will not be accepted. This requirement is set-aside for the participation of Small Business Symantec authorized resellers. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. Vendors providing pricing must be a Small Business Symantec authorized reseller. All quotes are due NLT 14 August 2012, 10am CST. Questions pertaining to this RFP shall be submitted electronically to tara.d.schmitt.civ@mail.mil and mary.a.hall1.civ@mail.mil not later than Thursday, 9 August 2012, 10:00 am, CST. Evaluation of quotes will be conducted using Contracting by Negotiation per FAR Part 15.3. The evaluation criterion is: TECHNICAL ACCEPTABLENESS(1) AND PRICE (2). Payment will be made via WAWF.
