Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/SolicitationSolicitation Number: VA263-12-J-1755 Synopsis/Requirement Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, Minneapolis, Minnesota, intends to award a purchase, which is in accordance with FAR Parts 12. This purchase is fixed-price and is being procured via a Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) from Veterans Medical Supply Inc., NAICS Code: 423450, Federal Supply Classification: 6515. The Minneapolis VA Medical Center has a requirement for 200 wheelchairs, manual, folding, Invacare 9000 SL or equal. Swing way frame style, 20x16 frame size, adult full length adjustable height SPC service arms, black vinyl upholstery, 8" x 1 1/4" comp urethane casters w/24" urethane corded tire, push to lock wheel locks-pivot, composite hand rim, black vinyl, adjustable rear anti-tipper, hemi footrest/aluminum FTPLT, IV/oxygen holder package assy, 250 pound capacity, five year warranty. If delivery/shipping charges are not included in the total cost, it is required to be less than $249 for all items. Responses: This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement described herein may submit a response; which, if received by closing date of this announcement, will be considered for future requirements of this nature. The offeror's quote shall include pricing for exact requirement described herein. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions and reserves the right to award on all or none basis.
