Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, intends to negotiate a multi-year sole-source contract with Interactivation Health Network, N16 W22419 Watertown Road, EC-06 Waukesha, WI 53186, on or around August 15, 2012 to provide "The Patient Channel" satellite feed and satellite equipment at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Myrtle Beach Primary Care Clinic, and Joint Ambulatory Care Clinic. "The Patient Channel" satellite feed provides 24-hour veteran education programming 365 days a year. The programming is directly related to more than 85% of VA performance measures, leading to significantly increased opportunities for improved patient health outcomes. NAICS Code: 515120 Television Broadcasting (Size Standard $14.0 Million) This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than August 10, 6 p.m. EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
