- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This sources sought is issued for the purposes of Market Research and to determine the appropriate Small Business Sourcing Strategy for this acquisition. The anticipated solicitation will be posted on GSA E-buy. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, has a requirement to upgrade the patient monitoring system. This will be a name brand only solicitation and the purpose of this sources sought is to determine small business availability to offer Philips Healthcare physiological patient monitoring system medical equipment to upgrade current system including acquisition of monitors to serve as ARK workstations, upgrade of bedside, central, telemetry, and other monitoring system infrastructure, including but not limited to MX800, MX700, MP30, MP50, and MX40 monitoring system components, installation, technical and clinical training in the following VISN 23 Medical Centers: Iowa City, IA; Des Moines, IA; Fargo, ND; Sioux Falls, SD; Black Hills, SD. Overall, the new system shall provide state-of-the-art physiological monitoring functions configured to the unique requirements of VISN 23. The system shall provide integration to Clinical Information System (CIS), Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK), and other medical informatics systems ensuring work flow efficiency and improved patient safety. The statement of capabilities should include: 1.Firm name, address, e-mail, telephone and fax numbers 2.Small business certification - 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran or Women-owned. 3.Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this Sources Sought. a.Provide a listing of three (3) most recent projects your firm has performed. 4.Your firms Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) 5.Central Contractor Registration's (CCR) registered NAICS Codes. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed Christopher.Volk@va.gov. All responses must be received no later than August 3, 2012.
