Description
RFP Amendment 0001 **Posted 02 Aug 2012 -- Please see RFP Amendment FA8532-12-R-32779-0001 and related Attachment.** This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for NSN 1730-00-516-2017RN Part Number 53J6268, 30 Ton Hydraulic Tripod Jack. The 30 ton hydraulic tripod jack is used to support routine aircraft maintenance activity. The system is universally deployed for use on multiple airframes. The 30 ton hydraulic tripod jack consists of a single stage hydraulic ram with manual hand pump supported by a variable height tripod structure. The hydraulic ram has 40 inch hydraulic rise and 15 inch extension screw. The height of the tripod structure can be configured from 55 inches to 145 inches tall in five fixed increments of 18 inches each. The tripod is supported by 3 casters and the manual hand pump is mounted to one leg of the jack. The basic requirement is 0001AA (1 each), 0001AB (5 each), 0001AC (2 each), 0001AD (16 each). The requirement also includes four (4) Option Periods each for a quantity range of 1-30. Delivery is 365 days ARO contract award / exercise of option. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin. Destinations may include both CONUS and OCONUS locations. RFP and drawing package will be posted to www.fbo.gov approximately 7 Jun 12. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. This proposed contract action is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. NO QUESTIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED BY TELEPHONE. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
