- Description
- The Pacific Regional Contracting Office-Korea (PRCO-K) at 65th MB/MEDDAC-K intends to award a firm-fixed price, service contract for Lease Chemistry Analyzer at 121st CSH/Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital, MEDDAC-Korea. This requirement is for total anticipated period of performance from 15 September 2012 - 14 September 2013 (Base year only). The proposed acquisition is intended as BRAND NAME ONLY for leasing VITROS Chemistry Analyzer. The contractor shall provide the leasing services of the VITROS 5600/4600 CHEMISTRY ANALYZERs to the 121st CSH/Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital, MEDDAC-Korea which shall include data management system, all other equipment, reagents, supplies and consumable necessary to operate the equipment, training for Government personnel and equipment maintenance, unscheduled repair and preventive service, necessary to fully perform testing in accordance with manufacturer's specification. NOTE: Pursuant to the Status of Forces Agreement between the United States and the Republic of Korea, only Korean contractors will be eligible to receive this contract, unless the Contracting Officer determines that competitive bidding is not practical due to security considerations, to the technical qualifications of the contractors involved, to the unavailability of materials or services required by the United States standards, or to limitations of United States law. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 532490. This solicitation package will be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/)on 1 August 2012. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
