- Description
- The purpose of this Amendment 1 is to change the technical requirements and provide responses to questions received. The following change applies to the Product Technical Requirements: Remove "Fixed Wing" and "Ability to Hover" and replace with "The desired system must be capable of capturing a series of still images that can be tiled together." Questions and Answers: 1. Does the desired system actually need to "hover" (stay airborne in one fixed location with the intended purpose of monitoring one or more target sets) or can it "loiter" (stay airborne in the vicinity of a fixed location with the intended purpose of monitoring one or more target sets)? Answer: Both hovering and loitering are fine as long as the camera is capable of capturing a series of still images that can be tiled together. 2. Is the goal of the system to capture one geo-referenced, ortho-rectified overhead image of a target or to capture a series of geo-referenced, ortho-rectified overhead images that are stitched together to produce a larger, more detailed image? Answer: The desired system must be capable of capturing a series of still images that can be tiled together to produce a Geo-referenced, Ortho-Rectified overhead image in Geo-tiff or Geo-Pdf format. 3. Does the sentence '...to support timely, geo-referenced overhead imagery in support of National Special Security Events' allude to a video imagery requirement or is the requirement simply still imagery (geo-referenced, ortho-rectified overhead image in Geo-tiff or Geo-Pdf format) as described in the product technical requirements section? Answer: Still imagery 4. What is the minimum resolution of a 'High Definition Camera Sensor'? 1,280×720 pixels (720p) or 1,920×1,080 pixels (1080i/1080p) or something else? Answer: The minimum resolution is 720p. 5. Can you tell us when is the anticipated demo date for the Aerial Camera? Answer: We anticipate the week of 8/27/12.
