Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 565-11-101, High Tech Conference Room, 3rd Floor of Building 1, at the VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. The established NAICS code for this project is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 Million. The project encompasses renovating offices behind the auditorium into a single High Tech Conference Room. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for High Tech Video Conference Room and Kitchen Renovation as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Duration for this project is 270 calendar days from notice to proceed. The NTP will be issued up to 120 calendar days after contract award. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition is set-aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Bidding material, drawings and specifications will be available on or about Aug 15th 2012. All documents pertaining to this project will be posted on this web site for downloading. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal or bid. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. The Government does not maintain a bidders list. All interested vendors should register on this website.
