Description

This pre-solicitation notice is for a new Archive Content Management System (System)for Stars and Stripes. In addition to the software or service solutions, integration to existing systems and databases, as well as training and project management are required. The System is to be based at Stars and Stripes Central Office with integration of output from our Atex Prestige Publishing System and our Atex Polopoly Web Content Management System as well as manual input of unpublished content (video, audio, flat format such as jpg, PDF, ai, eps) to be stored within the Archive System. The System is to run on a Microsoft Operating System platform with XML database using Microsoft SQL Server. The System can be maintained at either Stars and Stripes or on a cloud infrastructure. Other required software shall be supplied by the System Contractor and must be priced as part of the proposal in response to this solicitation. The System is to be available globally to our offices worldwide via a thin client or web client interface for individual users and an administrative module or console for our Archives staff.
