- The MICC -Fort Rucker intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Syn-Tech Systems, Incorporated to provide and install a Refuel Automated Data Collection (ADC) System in four additional tanker fleet vehicles at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Syn-Tech Systems, Incorporated installed the ADC system in the older fleet vehicles. The intent is to issue a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. Interested contractors must provide information no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on 8 August 2012 via email to daphne.d.foster.civ@mail.mil. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source Acquisition. Incorporated Clauses and Provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 effective 26 July 2012 and DFARs DPN 20120724 effective 24 July 2012. North American Industry Classification System Code for this requirement is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees.
