Description

MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Puget Sound is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of small businesses capable of providing telecommunication design/engineering support in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. Capable parties respond prior to 08 August 2012. As stated earlier, no formal solicitation exists for this requirement, though one may be issued in the near future. The purpose of this notice is that of market research to identify vendors who would be interested in the above-described requirement. Interested firms are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 10:00 am, 08 August 2012, stating their business size, estimated cost to perform, as well as a point of contact. The Government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether or not to proceed with acquisition of the above-described requirement and if so, whether it should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or if full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information. Interested parties should send all capability statements via email to austin.carter@navy.mil. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEM, NOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED OR FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING THE INFORMATION.
