- This will be firm fixed price type contract. Contractor shall provide twenty (20) 2603/2 Super Micro Cut paper shredder or equal. All equipment shall be NEW and include manufacturer warranty information. Remanufactured/refurbished equipment is not acceptable. Salient characteristics of the paper shredder are as follows: Shred size: 0.8 x 5mm; throat width: 10-1/4 inches; motor: 1HP; Bin capacity: 30 gallons; automatic oiler with 1 gallon oil capacity; automatic reverse and shut off (cabinet open, full, or jammed); level 6 security; shred oil; shred bags; Power: 115V; Warranty on parts and labor; extended 1yr warranty and 2nd year extended warranty. Meets the requirements of NSA/CSS specification 02-01 for level 6 security and be NSA or CSS certified. The issue date for this solicitation is on 31 July 2012 and the response date to provide a quote is due by 7 August 2012 at 10:00am HI Time. Telephone requests will not be honored. Issued solicitation packages will be posted at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ (go to Contracting Opportunities Search, Select Contracting Office: ACA Fort, Shafter, then click on Continue button). Interested offerors are required to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from this website. Once posted on the website, interested offerors are responsible for monitoring the website until closing date for any issued amendments or changes.
