- INSTALL GUARDRAIL AT BAKERSFIELD NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN ARVIN, CALIFORNIA This Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued to obtain contractor qualifications for which a contract, by means of negotiated firm fixed-price will be awarded. A contract will be awarded to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offeror in accordance with FAR PART 13 and 36. THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS RESTRICTED AS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting proposals under Solicitation Number VA-786A-12-Q-0081 for the following: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision necessary to replace the roof on the Administration Building at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas in accordance with specifications per applicable standards and requirements. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is 90 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS CODE: 237310SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Request for Proposal (RFP) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be released for issue on July 27, 2012. All prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the website. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizOpps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed.
