Statement of Work - Draft Copy THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY AND IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The sources sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, nor a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue a contract or otherwise pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement A contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought notice. No request for information, requests for clarification or questions concerning this notice will be provided in response to telephone calls. Formal communications such as request for clarifications and/or information or questions concerning this notice should be submitted via email to Henry Daniels at henry.daniels@arnold.af.mil. This Sources Sought notice is to identify potential small, bondable and experienced prime contractors and their socio-economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business, HUBZone, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business). Potential contractors responding to this sources sought notice should be able to demonstrate their capability to perform as the prime contractor. ONLY small businesses are to submit capability packages. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern under NAICS code 333415 with a size standard of 750 employees are encouraged to submit their capability statement and pricing information per the Statement of Work, No. 12517-12-002, dated 20 February 2012. Description of Requirement: Inspection and Repair for York M-Series Turbo Master 355 Compressor per the Statement of Work, No. 12517-12-002, dated 20 February 2012. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15 Negotiation (Source Selection Procedures). Proposal evaluation criteria will be Past Performance, Technical Proposal/Capability and Price. The offerors technical proposal will include a valid ISO certification 1940-1-03 and 1940/1.3 for the facility in which the work shall be performed. Our intention is to advertise this as a 100% small business set-aside if a sufficient number of responsible, qualified small businesses express an interest based on this sources sought notice. Interested bondable small businesses having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements per the Statement of Work are invited to submit a positive statement of intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor; the attachments should be typewritten and shall not exceed five (5) pages. All interested parties who believe that they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services consistent with evaluation criteria. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns& Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and your firms' small business status and category (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business, HUBZone, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business). Potential offerors must be registered in CCR and ORCA to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) found at https://orca.bpn.gov/. All respondents that can provide any of the requested information should reply in writing (electronic responses) no later than 14 days from the date of this posting for this publication to the Contract Specialist, Henry Daniels at the email address of henry.daniels@arnold.af.mil. A written Request for Proposal will be issued electronically on or about 15 August 2012. No hard copies of the RFP will be issued, and all amendments, if any will be posted must be retrieved from www.fbo.gov.
