- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is N0060412T3164 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-58. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339920 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2012-08-06 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be PEARL CITY, HI 96782 The FLC - Pearl Harbor requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, WOODWAY CURVE TREADMILL These characteristics represent the minimum specifications required: ? Must have a running surface with the dimensions 17" x 67" ? To maximizing terrain training this treadmill must have a max incline of 22% ? The max User Weight Capacity must be at least 500lbs while running at 4 mph ? Belt type must have individual Vulcanized Rubber Slats which will provide a softer running surface to reduce running injuries. ? Due to facility space restrictions the dimensions must not exceed 31 "W x 68"L x 68"H ? Must incorporate a maintenance and adjustable free belt system ? Must be human powered and not require an electrical power source. This is required when deploying with a SEAL Platoon to locations that are without electricity. ? Must interface with current Polar Heart Rate Monitor system, 4, EACH; LI 002, OPTPGAIT ONE METER SYSTEM These characteristics represent the minimum specifications required: ? Must be manufactured as commercial grade equipment ? Needs to have two (or more) cameras for multi-views for improved analysis. Dual video cameras sync with measurements to provide visual inspections and can be replayed. ? Must have two tripods that interface with the camera's bases. ? Includes a two year warranty, 3 hours of online and phone support. ? 1 meter parallel OptoGait skis, for precision optical measurements between two light bars to gather data including record foot strikes, cadence, transitions of heeltoe gait, step and stride length, single and double support, contact and flight time, and stance and swing phase of human locomotion. Must also interface with the software. ? The software needs to be windows compliant, to communicate with our current laptop. Have the ability to slow the speed of human locomotion to frame by frame for analysis, ability to draw on the stills with built-in graphic tool, an application to compare 2 or more saved user profiles/tests without the aid of additional software. ? The software must be able to also give the data points for foot strikes, cadence, transitions of heel-toe gait, step and stride length, single and double support, contact and flight time, and stance and swing phase ? Software needs to have outputs in a summarized "gait report" that is simple for the end user, Navy Seals and Divers, should give instant data feedback and video analysis, practitioners can utilize measurable statistics and visual tools to quickly identify deficiencies & develop appropriate treatment plans ? Needs to have a carrying bag for easy of transport and portability. This system has the ability to be used on a treadmill or flat ground this carrying case aids in this aspect., 1, EACH; LI 003, COSMED FITMATE PRO These characteristics represent the minimum specifications required: ? In order to prescribe appropriate training protocols this machine must be able to test for a V02max, Anaerobic threshold, Resting Metabolic Rate, Resting Energy Expenditure and Resting Metabolic Rate. ? Must have the ability to perform other fitness test to include muscular endurance, flexibility, resting heart rate, blood pressure and skin fold. ? The Framingham Index must be used within the testing protocol to predict heart disease. ? A nutrition software is required to prescribe appropriate daily caloric intake during training as well as software that can track Physical Activity. ? The combination of test on this equipment will maximize training time. ? Must be able to print exercise recommendations based on individual test reports. ?
