- This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). This is not a solicitation. The Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO) is requesting information to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business (8(a)), Small businesses (SB) that can provide a Digital Swallowing Workstation. Speech Pathology needs a complete video endoscopic system for administering "fees" exams at bedside and has a complementary procedure to do modified barium swallow studies. Brand Name or Equal to Kaypentax: 1)Applicable model/make/catalog number - 7245C, LH-150PC, KVM-98052, FNL-10RP3, 7120B, 7122, 7124, 7125, 7126, 7127, 7264C, OF-LT1, 7273, 7198, 7251, 7138 THIS SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS: "DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDING SYSTEM FOR FLUODOECOPIC & "FEES" EXAMS "OBJECTIVE MEASUREMENTS OF KEY PHYSIOLOGIC PARAMETERS RELATED TO SWALLOWING "REAL TIME VISUAL FEEDBACK FOR PATIENTS TO ASSIST WITH THERAPY GOALS "COMPLETE VIDEOENDOSCOPE (FEES) SYSTEM FOR BEDSIDE EVALUATION "TIMELINKED VIDEO & PHYSIOLOGIC DATA FOR COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT "FULLY INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH PATIENT DATABASE "REPORT GENERATOR CONTAINING CRITICAL EXAM FINDINGS & IMAGES "MOBILE CART FOR ALL SYSTEM COMPONENTS The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of qualified sources relative to NAICS 334510 and size standard 500 employees. The Government will use responses to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Qualified parties are invited to respond. Responses should include company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, email address, DUNS number and a capability statement. Email responses to Teena Glasper at teena.glasper@va.gov no later than August 2, 2012 at 10 AM PST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder's list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation, if issued, in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice.
