- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-12-T-0720 is being issued as a request for quote. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone intends to issue Firm Fixed Price purchase order award to the Small Business who submits the lowest price/bid for CheckMarx Stand-Alone Server, for the US Army RDECOM, Software Engineering Directorate (SED). Request acquisition of the following: CheckMarx Stand-Alone Server New License. Will be used in SED Cyber Solution Center, in support of the software assurance mission. QtyPart NoModel/Description 1 CMSASCheckMarx Stand-Alone Server New License 1 CMSASMNTCheckMarx Stand-Alone Server Updates and Support for 12 months from date of award Delivery is required by 15 August 2012. Earlier delivery at no additional cost to the Government is desirable and acceptable. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to US Army RDECOM, SED, RDMR-BA (Robert Goldsmith) Building 6263, Hackberry Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5260. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions; and Clause 52.232-7003 Army Electronic Invoicing Instructions, are applicable to this acquisition, other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003; Clause 52.242-4700, Contract Administration-Clause 52.242-15, Stop Work; Clause 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 pm (CST), 09 July 2012, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B132, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. In the event of multiple quotes are received evaluation will be lowest price technically acceptable. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes will be accepted.
