Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Division of Applied Science and Technology (DART) have intent to issue a Purchase Order to GRAS NA INC. for the purchase of, 1 each: 90CA - Microphone Calibration System, OP0020 - option to allow Preamplifier calibration, OP0021 - option to allow 1" microphone calibration, OP0022 - option to allow accredited calibration and certificate, TR0001 - option for 2 days training. This acquisition is for a microphone and preamp electrostatic calibration system using the direct approach. The system must be able to calibrate 1/8, ¼, ½ and 1 inch microphones; ¼ and ½ inch preamps. System must be compatible with ICP and 200 Volt polarized microphones and must be able to make a paired calibration of a microphone and preamp combination. The microphone and preamp calibration system must calibrate to the standards: IEC Standard 61094 and IEC 60942. System must output a report which can be accredited by NIST with an ISO 17025 compliant quality system. Responsible Sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written item description/item characteristics and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward the item description and pricing information to James Ambrozic, CDC / NIOSH, 626 Cochrans Mill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, and Reference 2012-Q-49529. All Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a federal contract. The website is www.ccr.gov. The Government will review any/all item descriptions and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.103-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with, GRAS NA INC., dba GRAS Sound & Vibration, 2285 E. Enterprise Pkwy, Twinsburg, OH. 44087-2337, as the only source and a Purchase Order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
