Description
700 CONS/LGCA, Germany is intending to exercise the 2nd Option Period starting 01 October through 30 September 2013 for Maintenance Services for Freight Terminal with High Bay Racking (MMHS) ETV-System, Multi-Pallet-Transfer-Vehicle System (MPTV)and Highline Extension with Moving Truck Dock (MTD)at Building 3334,Ramstein Air Base (RAB, Germany. Short Description of Performance Work Statement: 1.1. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and all other items and services necessary to provide lubrication and maintenance services for the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and componential of the technical facilities and facility parts including a 24- hour IT-support as well as unscheduled repair service in accordance with but not limited to the terms of this Statement of Work. 2. General Requirements: 2.1. Maintenance and repairs shall be performed by the Contractor at the on-site location of the equipment. Best commercial practices and guidelines established by the equipment manufacturer shall be utilized. The contactor shall not perform services on the facility without prior written approval. All parts and material used to perform under this contract shall be new and from the same or better capacity and efficiency standards of the original manufacturer's part. See Exhibit 1, Maintenance Schedule. 2.2. The Contractor shall provide a work schedule for plant-specific lubrication and inspection services as per paragraph 3.1 specifying the exact date and approximate time for each individual service to the designated POC within two (2) weeks after contract start date. The designated POC will coordinate the scheduled dates with the Contractor not later than three (3) work days prior to the next scheduled session. Changes to the schedule shall be provided to the designated POC not later than ten (10) work days prior to the next scheduled session. 2.3. The Contractor shall submit a detailed report of work performed and additional repairs requested for all services performed to the designated POC not later than three (3) days after completion of service. The Contractor shall notify the designated POC immediately of any mechanical deficiencies and provide a detailed cost estimate for required repairs with this report. Contractor shall not proceed with repair until approval is granted by the designated POC. The maintenance personnel shall pay special attention to operational and ambient conditions.
