- This is a notice of intent by the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to contract with Bruker BioSpin Corp. on a sole source basis for the purchase of Paravision 5.1 Software and License for workstation Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI ) data processing with the following List of Salient Characteristics for Equipment Purchases: Post-processing of Bruker MRI and spectroscopy data: • basic image manipulation: zoom, pan, color tables, windowing • single and multiple window graphical layout with parameter display • interactive multiple image graphic processing • automatic single and multiple image processing • ROI analysis statistics and image segmentation, ability to export results • digital image processing: digital filter, edge enhancements, smoothing • image intensity profile scanning • image pixel scanning • geometrical references • geometric image measurements & annotations (distance and angles) • image sequence display and movie creation and concatenation • Image Algebra: default functions and user functions • image format conversion, i.e. png, postscript • printing of images and viewport layouts • image sequence analysis: multi parameter fitting • image sequence analysis: parameter maps • image sequence analysis: user defined fitting functions • multi dimensional spectroscopy data processing • multi dimensional spectroscopy data analysis spectral integration, fitting, peak-picking • multi-dimensional spectral display and plotting This is an interim requirement for a period of performance of one year. The NAICS code is 511210. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; no solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capability to provide these services, which will be considered by the Agency. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A solicitation will be issued to Bruker BioSpin Corp.
