- The Acquisition Management Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD 20899 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to construct and install a stair for safety egress, Bldg. 230, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, material and perform all operations necessary to construct and install a stairway for safety egress of building 230 in the event of an emergency. The contractor shall be provided drawings and a specification at the time of the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The government intends to evaluate the award on Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT) and award a Firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332312 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The entire solicitation,SB1341-12-RP-0086 will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about Aug 7, 2012.
