Description
CHANGE TO PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS), 48th IBCT Live Tissue Training (LTT) Sub-paragraph 1.6.8 Contractor Qualifications and Experience, is hereby changed to provide Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDD C&S) certification requirements and to read as follows: FROM: "The Contractor shall maintain all local, state, and federal permits pertaining to live tissue training. The Contractor shall have and maintain a current certification from Marine Corps Health Services, HQMC-HS, to conduct the CTT with LTT at the level described in and the PWS and shall ensure that the COR has copies of the current certifications, which shall also be included in the contract file throughout the duration of performance. The Contractor shall possess a full understanding tactical military operations, specifically Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines pertaining to medical care in an operational environment. Contractor staff shall be trained in theory and application of volume expanding and blood-clotting agents accepted for use in accordance with TCCC guidelines and the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Military Manual."
