Description
Solicitation No. A12PS01888 is amended as follows: 1. The following are the Government's response to questions received for this Solicitation. A. Is the purpose and use of the potential funding intended for the salaries of the vocational, skilled, and certified trainees? The purpose is to train native youths on conservation projects which includes wages, skill development and becoming certified if necessary. It will depend on the need or task. If project task requests a need to use chainsaw then ACE would train and certify the individual. B. Is the purpose and use of the potential funding intended for the overall implementation of conservation projects solely on tribal lands and not other ACE conservation projects? If so, are we solely responsible for finding conservation projects on tribal lands? This fund will be for BIA/Navajo Nation conservation projects not outside Navajo Indian Reservation. C. In the SOW, 11.1 it states "the designee will have a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited University in any of the disciplines listed under Professional Qualifications." However, I do not see a Professional Qualifications section anywhere in the SOW. The person should have a B.S. in Science (biology, ecology, range, chemistry.. a science degree). 11.0 Supervision of Field Personnel 11.1 The Contractor, or his/her designee, will supervise field personnel on a daily basis. The field supervisor will make him/her self available to COTR for any matters regarding the full performance of this contract. If the Contractor chooses a designee for field supervision, then the designee will have a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited University in any of the disciplines listed under Professional Qualifications. The SOW is amended to read: "The Professional Qualifications are to have a B.S. in Science (biology, ecology, range, chemistry,..). 2. The due date has been extended to July 26, 2012, 2:00 p.m. (Local time - MDT). 3. All other terms and conditions remain the same in full force and effect.
