- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Birmingham, AL is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Homeless Veterans Halfway Housing Services for the Birmingham VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide services to the beneficiaries for whom such care is specifically authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs and are homeless with substance abuse and/or other mental health diagnosis. The contract period is for (1) year from the date of award with three (3) one-year option periods, subject to the availability of funds. Multiple contracts may be awarded. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code is 624229. The Base Period of the contract will be 8/1/12 - 7/31/13, with three (3) one-year Option Periods. This solicitation adheres to the format defined in FAR Part 15 for the acquisition of commercial services and shall be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15. Electronic solicitations will be available on or about 7/23/12 at the URL address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be available at the same URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
