Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the Department of Veterans Affairs in developing its acquisition approach, statement of work/statement of objectives and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing comparable services to Phillips' Alliance Co-Op Advanced Customer Service Agreement for the Phillips Achieva 1.5T A Series MRI located at the Western New York (VAMC) located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14215. Please see attached Scope of Work below for the requirements of the agreement. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. NAICS 334517, Size Standard 500 employees. Alliance Co-Op Advanced Customer Service Agreement: Unlimited Second Response Labor and Travel coverage from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. "Priority Service Response "Unlimited Parts coverage, excluding consumable items and other items listed in the Terms and Conditions provided with this agreement "Customer Service Documentation License "Customer Service Diagnostic Software License "Unlimited Remote Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) access "Clinical Telephone Support "Operating System Software Updates "Hardware Reliability Updates "15% Discount on future Customer Engineer Training purchases during contract period "Philips Utilization Services - Essentials: A program to measure MRI scanner utilization to identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency which provides the ability to bench mark MRI usage efficiency against other healthcare facilities and provide support in implementing suggested improvements Additional Requirements: "Provide documentation that service personnel are trained to service equipment "Provide PM/Service documentation within 24 hours of completion of work All vendors who are interested must have an active Cage Code Number, and registered in ORCA (Representations and Certifications). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to delivery the components listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number.
