ATTCH 3 Copy of Lamps-ballasts ATTCH 2 lighting_catalog_final ATTCH 1 2012_EE_Rebate_Application RESPONSES DATE IS EXTENDED TO MONDAY JULY 30, 2012, 5:00 PM PST. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: •1. Does the government have an annual accounting of electrical cost for the APL barge? APPROXIMATELY $13,000. •2. Vendor would like to know the number of hours the lights are operated. VARIES. SEE QUESTION 11. CURRENT LIGHTING CONSUMPTION IS APPROXIMATELY 85,000 KWH ANNUALLY. •3. Will the Department of Transportation dispose of the Tubes and ballast? NO, CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY. •4. If we are to dispose of them, do we need to provide disposal containers on site? YES •5. Where will we be allowed to park work vehicles? UNLESS THERE IS A NEED FOR THE VEHICLE DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK, THE VEHICLES ARE TO BE PARKED IN THE PARKING LOT IMMEDIATELYAFTER THE MOTORIZED GATE AND BEFORE THE PIER ACCESS. •6. Will it be possible to drive a truck onto the pier to make deliveries of materials? YES, TEMPORARILY, BUT PIER IS NOT A PERMANENT PARKING LOCATION. •7. Are you aware of any hazardous materials such as PCB ballasts that we will need to remove? NO •8. Will you issue a 1442 for the solicitation bids? NO, OF 347 WILL BE USED TO AWARD A PURCHASE ORDER. •9. Can we email you our bids? YES. INCLUDE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE •10. PGE stated that no application has been submitted for this project so they are unable to provide information on energy incentive valuation. Will you be filing an application with PGE? NO THIS IS A PRESCRIPTIVE OR DEEMED INCENTIVE PROGRAM. ITS UP TO THE VENDOR TO APPLY. •11. What will the hours of work be? SUISUN BAY RESERVE FLEET FACILITY IS OPEN 10 HOURS PER DAY, 5 DAYS A WEEK. HOURS ARE 7:00-5:30. VENDOR's HOURS MUST FALL BETWEEN THESE HOURS.
