Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00189-12-Q-P023. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-58 and DFARS Change Notice 20120629. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Line Items: 0001: HPAC RENTAL. Rental for one universal highpack- Model 55H75 (Brand Name or Equal) oil free high pressure air compressor with power cord, HP hoses and maintenance to support USS PITTSBURGH SSN 720 PIRA at Subase New London in Groton, CT. Period of Performance is 08/20/2012 03/11/2013. Rental price to include delivery and pick up to Subase New London. Quantity: 1 JOB Total Amount $______________ Procurement will be evaluated on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Basis (LPTA). To be found technically acceptable, contractor must be able to provide the correct model of equipment (Brand Name or Equal) as well as meet the period of performance as indicated above.
