Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to EasyLink Services USA, Inc., 6025 The Corners Parkway, Suite 100, Norcross, GA 30092, for continued use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Value Added Network (VAN) License for 20,000KCs per month with secure FTP capability. The EDI Van supports e-commerce between CDC and vaccine manufacturers and distributors who supply vaccines to support the Vaccine for Children program. At CDC, the EDI services are managed by the Mangement Information Systems Office (MISO). EasyLink has provided VAN services for CDC since the original EDI service setup. 50,000 orders are typically processed per year. Service includes monthly unlimited interconnects, 24x7x365 customer support via phone or e-mail, a personal account manager, and disaster recovery. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
