Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide all services for Express Next Day, Two Day, Three Day, Ground Routine Delivery of extremely urgent letters, small packages and heavyweight shipments, including any accessorial services, offered to the general public and International Delivery. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about September 19, 2012, for a base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The contractor shall provide at their expense all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, etc., necessary to perform Courier/Delivery Services. All companies submitting a proposal must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base. This Screening Information Request (SIR), DTFAWA-12-R-00025 and other documents are attached with this announcement (SIR). This acquisition is full and open competition. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 492110 with a size standard of 1500. The type of contract anticipated is a firm, fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the SIR. Evaluation Criteria have been identified in Section M of the SIR. The Government will make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements and terms and conditions, and is considered to be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable proposal. During the period from issuance of the SIR through receipt of the Offeror's proposals, questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, La Keisha Wiley-Bess in writing not later than 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) EST on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Questions may be sent electronically via e-mail to the following e-mail address: lakeisha.wiley-bess@faa.gov. Telephonic questions will not be accepted. Proposals must be receivd by the Contracting Officer at the above location no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 2, 2012.
