Description
Amendment No.0001. The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions submitted by interested vendors. Question 1: What is the height of rack uprights and ceiling height? Response: Approximately 18'-0" rack uprights and 22'-0" to bottom of beams Question 2: What is the depth of the rack uprights? Response: Approximately 3'-6" Question 3: What is the height of a loaded pallet? Response: Approximately 4'-6" Question 4: What is the distance from the loading dock to the rack install location? Response: Approximately 160'-0", within the same area of the loading docks Question 5: What is the depth and height requirement for the upright assembles? Response: Approximately 8' X 3'-6" X 18' Question 6: What are the dimensions of the racks (width, height, etc...)? Response: Approximately 11 rack wide at a total of 91' and two rows deep back to back with 1'-2" space between racks at a total of 8'-2", with 4 levels at 5'-4" spacing, and 16'-1" aisle spacing between racks Question 7: How many beam levels per bay that do you require? Response: Three (3) Question 8: What capacity is required for the pallet system? Response: Minimum Rack Strength: Each pair of beams per rack bay must be able to support up to 4,200 lbs max. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement Offerors are strongly encourage to include any assumptions taken in their submission of their quote. The Contractor will be responsible for verifying any heights and as outlined in the Statement of Need is required to submit their drawings for review and approval by BEP. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
