Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Acquisition Service - Frederick, 8490 Progress Drive, Suite 100, Frederick, MD 21701 intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide janitorial services to the Veterans Administration (VA) Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC), 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561720 (Janitorial Services). The period of performance is 1 October 2012 through 30 September 2013, with four 1-year option periods. The contractor shall provide labor, materials, insurance, licenses and equipment required to provide house-keeping services in 7 buildings which includes up to 78 daily dormitory rooms of VA-LETC students. The RFP will be posted to FedBizopps on or about 24 July 2012, with proposals due on or about 8 August 2012. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on FedBizopps. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). All contractors must be registered in the Center for Veterans Web Portal at Vetbiz.gov and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted.
