- Solicitation No. F12PS00710 Notice of Intent to sole source reference FAR Clause 6.302-1. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement to procure three (3) Model 860-P, Aqua-Life Fish Pump systems that include a standard inlet chute, aluminum dewaterer and mounted on a powder coated steel single axle trailer with leveling jack and running lights. Included also is a 27HP Kohler Gas Engine, all Hydraulics and circuiting to operate lift cylinders and Fish Pump., 12 volt battery, 15 Gallon fuel tank, 26 Gallon Hydraulic Oil Tank, one 90 degree elbow, one 45 degree elbow, 24 foot intake hose, 15 foot water discharge hose, 6 foot telescoping swivel fish discharge tube, and one set of 25 foot Hydraulic leads for fish pump. These submersible style fish pump systems, as manufactured by Magic Valley Heli-Arc and Manufacturing, Inc, Twin Falls, Idaho, are required for moving fish from the raceways to transport equipment for distribution, and to back-up the existing operating equipment at the Fish Hatcheries. These pump systems will also be in line with the existing equipment inventory at the R3, Fish Hatcheries. This requirement will be for small business only. The North American Industy Classification System (NAICS) code is 333911, Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of Intent is not a Request for Quote for competitive proposals, however, firms with an expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
