- This notice is to announce that this NSN is being solicited. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice. The solicitation number is SPM7LX-12-X-0039 and is issued as Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation is available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. An Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) with one base year and one option year is anticipated. Estimated annual demand quantity (ADQ) is 446 each. The ADQ represents an estimate only and not a guaranteed amount. Multiple delivery orders may be written against the basic contract for a maximum of two years. Solicitation will be issued as "unrestricted" and as "Other than full and open". The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 2815-00-936-8251, nomenclature, is a Parts Kit,Cylinder. The approved sources and part numbers are TOGNUM AMERICA INC (72582) P/N 5198899 FEDERAL-MOGUL CORPORATION DBA (7U177) P/N FP-5198899 NAVISTAR INTL CORP TRUCK BR OHIO (89346) P/N FB5198899 Item Description: PARTS KIT, CYLINDER HEAD, DIESEL ENGINE. INCLUDES THE CYLINDER LINER AND PISTON ASSEMBLY WITH RING SET...FOR USE IN THE DETROIT DIESEL ALLISON DIV OF GMC 53 SERIES DIESEL ENGINES. MERCURY OR MERCURY CONTAINING COMPOUNDS SHALL NOT BE INTENTIONALLY ADDED TO,OR COME IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH,ANY HARDWARE OR SUPPLIES FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA stocking locations within and outside of the continental United States.. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation Issue date is on 07/16/12 with the Response date on 08/03/12. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web.
