Description
The United States Tax Court is seeking proposals for the replacement of our existing 6 ton Liebert upflow CRAC unit with two 5 to 6 ton shared load CRAC units. These units should be of the same quality and reliability as Leibert CRV or Challenger or Compu-Aire, inc. Compu-Kool III. Units must be capable of providing cooling to 74 degrees Fahrenheit with both units running and should be designed so that each unit shares the load equally with both units when both are in operation and there no more than a 6 degree increase in temperature with one unit down. The following tasks will need to be completed for this project. Secure power and hydronic piping to existing 6ton Liebert unit Demo existing Liebert 6ton unit. Lay out xray and core drill new holes where needed to accommodate new units (existing piping may be reused where appropriate to reduce drilling) Provide and install, new CRAC units, previously approved by United States Tax Court and the General Services Administration. Provide and install any and all required piping to accomodate new units. Pressure test all piping. Tie new equipment into existing electrical panel and to emergency generator. Startup and test operation of new equipment and record all information regarding warranties etc... Remove all debris from jobsite. All work must be performed on Weekends and must be operational by the following Monday at 7am. It is strongly advised that interested bidders make a site survey before submitting proposals. All work must be performed in accordance with District of Columbia and Federal codes for electrical and plumbing work.
