- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools Europe (DoDDS-E) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Partner für Logistic und Service (PLS) GmbH, Adalbert-Stifter-Straße 3a, 82031 Grünwald, Germany to acquire School Bus Security Attendants services in Vicenza, Italy in support of the DoDDS-E Student Transportation Security Services Program (STSSP), pursuant to FAR 52.302-1, 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The NAICS code for this requirement is 561612. A limited sole-source, bridge contract will be established for PLS to execute DoDDS-Europe's student transportation security services program (STSSP) at Vicenza for the approximate period 23 July 2012 through 30June 2013 of school year 2012-2013. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified points of contact, Ms. Marcia Lee, e-mail: Marcia.Lee@eu.dodea.edu, and Ms. Angie Petre, e-mail: Angie.Petre@eu.dodea.edu, not later than 20 July 2012, 08:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
