Description

SAP will be solicited to support the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Management Office Laboratory in Annapolis, Maryland. The contractor's efforts will focus on providing functional and technical expertise to help sustain the Navy ERP System. The functional expertise will be required to support all software issues affecting the production system. This effort involves understanding Navy ERP unique information management system requirements, assessing and adapting SAP products to optimize ERP solutions, and developing plans to support global implementation of Navy ERP. The Govenment intends to procure these services on a sole-source basis from SAP Government Support and Services, Inc. As the OEM of the software that forms the core of the Navy ERP system, only SAP is in a position to understand the coding and structure behind the basic software as well as having knowledge of future improvements and anticipated changes. These services are a follow on to sole-source GSA order N00024-08-F-6302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by SPAWAR.
