SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58, effective 18 May 2012 (includes 2005-59). The North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) Code is 562910, Environmental Remediation Services with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The PSC is Z2DZ, Repair of Alteration of Other Hospital Buildings, and the SIC code is 8999, Services, Not Elsewhere Classified. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the services of a qualified Certified Professional Industrial Hygienist to act as Compliance Auditor during the Asbestos Abatement solicited under VA258-12-R-0532 at the Raymond G Murphy VA Medical Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico. That contract will be subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation format following.
