- Description
- This program will provide system sustainment of the Stores System Tester (SST) support equipment. The United States Air Force (USAF), Multinational Fighter Program (MNFP), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers use this support equipment worldwide. In addition, this contract will provide production and engineering for the SST. This program also will perform the following actions as required: Engineering Technical Services, Software Support, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Analysis and Support, Maintenance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Property (GFP), Non-Recurring Engineering, Technical Order Maintenance, Provisioning Data, Modifications, and Configuration and Data Management for the support equipment. Duration of Contract Period: 5 Years Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION AND ELECTRO, NASHUA, NH.,03060-6909. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Options will be utilized. The 5 year period of performance will consist of a basic two-year period, one two-year option, and one one-year option. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part.
