- This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance, in any way, restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center PKOA, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico is seeking potential sources to provide a Spectroradiometer with watertight protective hard case and fiber optic cable. The spectroradiometer are based on spectrums manufactured by Spectral Evolution, the model SR-3500, CASE XL, and FIBER 1.2 or equal. CLIN 1: Item # SR-3500 Laboratory UV-VIS-NIR Spectroradiometer or equal. CLIN 2: Item # CASE XL Pelican watertight protective hard case with high density foam. Or equal. CLIN 3: Item # FIBER 1.2 Fiber Optic Cable with SMA-905 to Keyed end. General Requirements common to CLIN1, 2 and 3: Spectral Radiometer Specs: 1. Spectral Range: 400nm to 2500nm 2. Spectral Resolution a. Visible (400-1000m): 4nm or better (lower value) b. Near IR (1000-1800nm): 10nm or better (lower value) c. Shortwave IR (1800-2500nm): 10nm or better (lower value) 3. Mechanical Design: No moving parts 4. Design integration: The multiple spectrometers must operate as single instrument with common light collection optics, single software program for data acquisition and merged and stitched spectral display from 400nm to 2500nm. 5. Interface: USB or Ethernet connection to laptop 6. Size: 600 sq. in 7. Weight: 10lbs or less 8. Fiber optic input: 1 meter long fiber optic input, detachable preffered 9. Optional but desirable a. software develop kit: LabVIEW b. Calibration: Radiometric and Spectral Firms responding to this announcement shall include company name, DUNS number, cage code, point of contact, address and business size using NAICS Code 334519, Size Standard 500 employees. Statement of Capabilities (SOCs), limited to 2 pages and shall demonstrate experience in providing or manufacturing of product or capability to provide products meeting the specifications listed.
