Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 441310, Automotive Parts and Accessories. This procurement action is being set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The Veterans Administration intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. The VA Palo Alto police service has a requirement to acquire and install emergency lights, push bar (front of vehicle), mobile data terminal, siren, and eyewitness camera system (must be compatible with existing systems used by the Police Service). There is a requirement to install VA police decals (furnished by the government). The vehicle is a 2012 Chevy Tahoe Supervisor Slicktop. The vehicle will be delivered to the contractor's facility, the schedule will be determined after award. The successful offeror must be located within 30 miles of the VA Palo Alto facility at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The successful offeror must be licensed and/or authorized by Rockwell Collins to install iForce.
