This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-08-D-4279. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for battery replacement and repair of up to 90 MK186 Mod 2 Demolition Firing Devices. The repairs and battery replacement was not considered at time of award of N00164-08-D-4279. Rothenbuhler Engineering owns the proprietary rights for the MK186 Mod 2 Firing Device which makes them the only source capable of satisfying the Government ™s requirement. The additional CLIN will be added to contract N00164-08-D-4279 under P00014 and a Delivery Order will be placed with Rothenbuhler Engineering on or about 25 July 2012.
