Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice of Proposed Contract Actions IAW FAR 12 and 15, RF VA-259-12-R-0485 The Cheyenne VA Medical Center (CVAMC) in Cheyenne, Wyoming, VISN 19, and NCO19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center contemplate an award of a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity Contract for Gastroenterology Services. This is a modification of a previous solicitation due the change in the required services time period. RFP VA259-12-R-0374 was for a base year with four (4) option year. Therefore, the new required service time period will be a base year with one (1) year option year. The proposed contract will be issued for commercial firm fixed price contract types. The period of performance for these contracts will be one year, with one additional, 12 month option period from date of award, which is estimated for September 01, 2012. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value to include past performance. Request for Proposal VA259-12-R-0485 will be available for download on or about July 12, 2012. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Offers are to be received at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO19), 4100 E. Mississippi Ave., Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246, no later than July 20, 2012, 4:00 PM Mountain Time. The NAICS Code is 62111. Additional Requirements: Contractors shall be required to meet the standards of the Joint Commission and to provide current Gastroenterology licensure and proof of insurance to include being Fellowship Trained.
