Description

J&A Sole Source. DFAS-Columbus and DFAS-Indianapolis Check Printing Maintenance. Defense Finance and Accounting Services has a requirement to purchase a software maintainer and integrator for the DFAS Check and Advice of Payment (AOP) printing and handling systems. This will cover the Period of Performance 10/01/2012 to 09/30/2013. The solicitation HQ0423-12-R-0009 will be posted on FedBizOpps approximately July 27, 2012. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See attached J&A for further details.
